The most pens I've machined in one week! Today I will finish the bolt slots and grips on all of these then they are ready for final finishing.
There is still another day or 2 for finishing and packaging but the recent process optimizations are REALLY

Had one pen from the last blue batch that ended up with a fade instead (night shift Curt wanted to play around I guess). This one is NFS but I like the colour shift (bronze/blue isn't a fade I normally do).

It has come to my attention that the large (pictured top) spring 'rate spacer' can cause some of the pens to not correctly cycle. All pens ship with the medium spacer (pictured middle) installed and that presents no is

The tip is important! To get a super smooth action the bolt slider is important but the refill tip hole / circularity might be more important'er.
These tips are drilled, reamed and then lightly polished to give as smooth of a bore as possible. Funny

Grade 5 Ti...black! The rabbit trail of figuring out how to hardcoat anodize titanium led me towards some rather interesting information on how to electro anodize titanium black (which I assumed was not possible).
